En verder past de grey space qua sfeer en kleur ook weer heel goed bij het doek van Kees Jansen, over wie ik niets kan vinden op internet overigens (was autodidact en lid van de Kunst Club Bergen). Het strandgezicht voor (..) is ook fantastisch, je voelt de warmte eraf stralen en het past ook reuze goed bij het schilderij van de drie kindjes op het strand, dat ik heb. De kalenders zijn ook zo leuk! 't Is wel verslavend hoor, die schilderijtjes van jou. Wat heerlijk als je de natuur zo goed kan weergeven. Eigenlijk hangt het al helemaal vol in de woonkamer, maar ik heb toch nog een gaatje gevonden. Wat is kunst toch heerlijk, je geniet er iedere dag weer opnieuw van. Beste Roos, Het schilderij in de bijlage is gisteren verkocht, het hing nog niet eens. De kopers – een Nederlands echtpaar woonachtig in Munchen, die weleens bij ons in de galerie komt – hadden jouw naam zelfs al in Munchen gehoord. Zij volgt daar een schilderkursus. De docent vertelde haar dat haar manier van werken lijkt ‘’ op een zekere Roos Schuring uit Holland! ‘ Ze hadden via internet vernomen dat je bij ons hangt.

Nog even een hele dikke zoen en reuze bedankt voor alles wat ik van je heb geleerd in de afgelopen 2 workshops.
* Squeeze the EYE ;-)
* snel in grote vlakken opzetten, niet zo treuzelen!
* donkere basis, body en daar overheen met licht
* contrasterende kleur er onder zetten
* beter leren kleuren mengen, het heeft mij enorm geholpen de tip: is het te paars, geel bijmengen
* nog beter leren kijken naar je onderwerp.......
En dan vergeet ik er vast nog wel een paar.
Dit was even een rijtje om je vooral te laten weten dat het bijzonder fijn is om in sneltreinvaart wat tips van een echte Prof te leren. En om je wat positieve vibes toe te sturen met heel veel zonne-energie ;-)Zodat je hopelijk met veel plezier terug denkt aan wat je voor andere mensen kunt betekenen. Je hebt mij in ieder geval over de drempel geholpen en het plezier van buiten schilderen laten ervaren.

Roos, Even een korte reactie op de aankoop van je drie bollenveldschilderijen. Ze hangen als drieluik bij elkaar in de slaapkamer. We zijn er blij mee, het is mooi werk. De kleuren rood, geel en blauw en tegelijk de verschillende bloemsoorten, tulp, narcis en hyacinth. Het ziet eruit alsof je ze als een geheel gedacht hebt.

I recently discovered your work while reading Artists On Art online magazine. I watched your video with amazement and awe. Later I noticed your work on Daily Paintworks where I also post my work. I'm writing to say how much I love your paintings. You have inspired me in many ways. I want to thank you for sharing so much very useful information. I have started to use a small mirror once I saw the way you used it. It's helping me check my drawings for accuracy and I'm sure I'll use it for balance as you do. I took notes when I watched the video for the second time! Then I watched all the other videos of you I could find. I live in Southern California, USA where our climate is quite mild except for dry summer heat. When I feel reluctant to paint outdoors because of the weather, I'll picture you in your heavy coat and fisherman boots standing in the surf! You are so inspiring!
