This title says it all. Those twinklings of light in an ocean of grey. I think all landscape painters eventually will need to get out of the studio.
Or you start painting in the studio, then discover outdoor painting, to end at old age in the studio again, (maybe). I don't know.
There are many many great paintings created indoors, but often these were done by painters who did do studies outdoors. To be able to paint it, you must know it. Through and through.
I know there are many artists reading this, both through and through outdoor pros as indoor painters, so take from it "what suits your style" I always say. :) Just go there, find the beauty just by being there. You'll get hooked.
SSP06 Seascape Plein air Painting "Grey Spectacle"
Soon I'll be painting again with the MasterClass artists, here, getting any kind of weather. Can't wait for sure :)
