I love the days when I know what I want to paint and I know where to go to and paint it.
↪ Fixations, theme-based times, project-like times give a painter so much to work with and it solves the "What/where to paint today?" problem.
For example, I had my 'Year of Seascaping' which lasted about two years, the cow period, and now the 'Morning' period. Actually, it's more the 'sky period'. Or do you English peeps say "Sky Phase"..no periods there ;) Anyway, yes those days when you know the sun will be up at a certain hour, and I know where to plant the easel.
We begin the Morning landscapes Series here.
Here I was still searching for ONE place to plant the easel. I stopped the car for these cows.
