I love this painting. It's playful.
Here the morning light has just been out, the ocean still has a bit of early morning colors to it, pink parts of the clouds captured (these vanish o so swift) and a first kite!
See that movement in the sky, those bottom clouds catching the light. This is a painting you should see face to face.
(Because) When the 3-dimensionality of paint works in favour of the painting or the colors, it's harder to get it on camera.

Palette and scene:
Here in Holland often the day will start just Great.
But most won't be painting at this time. I think that's a miss.
It will take some adjusting: getting up earlier, painting earlier, but it will be worth the extra effort.
This day here turned into grey quick. Often it will open up again at midday. You'll have different colors then.
A real morning sky palette: warm whites, pinks, warm yellows, reddish-purples and turquoises.
