Warm colors in the morning/midday.

Me and my cows class went to paint the cows again, Spring, still cold, but it was great to be there.

I started in the morning, thus the warmer colors. Trees right creating long shadows. They were not sitting still long, and usually they'll walk away and come back, but we waited a long time.

Sometimes you'll have to start with the cows. IF they sit/stand where 'you want them': start with the cows. Because they might walk away and not come back for hours.

Often they'll walk back/forth 3 times in 3 hours. Fun thing to find these 'regularities'.

Beside the road, the easel a little crooked beside the ditch, getting a lower view.
I also like to wear the rubber boots when painting the landscape, whether for standing in snow, mud, or high grass. It just gives you more options/freedom not fearing bugs etc.
