It’s true that nothing happens (for me) without a set goal.
Yes, if I live day to day then the - going out to paint - ideas just evaporate by the daily tasks, busy-ness.
So I set a goal to add new cow paintings to my shop before my Summer Special was over, of course an ‘unimportant reason’ but it motivated me to cross off painting days, to go out there, and just start.
Because often a ‘break’ in the painting activity can cause hurdles. Everything is ‘new’ again. Perhaps insecurities enter. “Can I still do it?”. Of course, I was at the beach painting, but that’s different.
A cow painting is a slightly more ‘difficult’ thing.
Finding a good spot, for one.
Then, it’s about being fast enough. Finding again those great greens. Anyway, you’ll feel your way into it again, and you’ll enjoy it so much again. Sure, with struggles, that’s normal.
This is the first one of 5 new cow paintings that are now also added to my shop.
The day started very sunny
Thick Summer atmosphere
I filmed some vlog material: will edit/upload soon.
