Painting Red Roses.
After a while, you'll find you don't have to buy new flowers again and again, because (in Spring) they'll be all around, there for the taking. Found a good location to cut off wild roses :)

We purchased a bunch, but you can't paint them all before they wither, best is to not go overboard, just start with a few flowers, or buy one bouquet.
