Painting a Sunrise and Clouds
Sunrise and Clouds.
A beautiful morning with a lot of Clouds moving.
Yes, it's often 'nicest' just before or just after the rain.
The hard part is to paint the blue sky: but to NOT paint it blue :)
The great thing about this painting, in my opinion, is the rich and high clouds, especially the coloring of it all, the usage of a lot of yellow, also in the blue part. There's a real sense of unity throughout the whole painting: Sky & Land united.
