So, yes, there IS divine intervention. :) When you STOP everything and DECIDE to go painting :) True right! We should all listen better. So many times we hear it. Not listening. Excuses pop in. "No time". Decide you'll listen more closely to your excuses in 2018 and GO ANYWAY! :) haha. My 2 cents for the New Year. But worth a thousandfold.
Listen to the drive. Be willing to fail. Because those excuses come from that place. The fear. To Fail. What's failure but a stepping stone to greatness?
I'm telling you this -with this painting- because this was such a moment.
'Something saying' just go there to paint the evening sun. It was Cold! And I think I went several times. The other ones I could trash. So -yes- failure is always -part of the deal-, towards great stuff. But I got this one.
Persist and Listen to the voice that says: "Paint it Now".
Seascape Plein air Painting "Seascape Sunset"
Some people think I live very near to a beach, but no, it's a 45 min. drive when there isn't traffic. Sure, that's near enough.
We can 'just decide' to go to the beach and paint. But often -it being near- won't be the thing that will make you go :)
If you don't live near an ocean: just book a holiday to a beach and bring your gear!
I'm painting with artists like you on the beach of Holland.
