Those Who Wait

Good Things Come.

On the last evening of the class I painted the red one.

It was a cloudy grey bluish start (not much going on) and later all pinks dominated (wow factor 10, see images below). The view was so stunning. And it's not easy to add these effects in when your painting is 'somewhat' done. (Not expecting that big color treat at the end at all.)

This painting is way more moderate than nature showed it to us. But I got to play with a darker palette, something I enjoy.

Don't miss it!  How many miss out on seeing the sunrise, the sunset?

Some then applaud for a device that shows a sunrise artificially? That's so lame. That's so SAD.

Feel the real world. Leave the city. Get OUTSIDE. Start a big garden. And paint outside!

You hear me talk a lot about 'all weather' painting and not dismissing a moment (because it doesn't have a blue sky or 'right conditions for painting', but it's also about staying humble when there is 'nothing': Good things come to those who wait (and those who have faith).
It's nature's reward. It is.
