Bulbs Under Rain
Light Effects.
Both bulb paintings here (see previous) have a lit area and a shadow area on the ‘bulb lines’.
It’s hard to get a photo doing it real justice, but with the naked eye it’s clear to see. I love things like that.
Clouds moving over the landscape and creating these light effects. Similar interesting to paint flowers partly lit, or some in shade. Subtle differences.
I got soaked of course but was happy to paint this far away interesting field again. Wanted to return, but as things change, it didn't last long enough. Next year again.
