Cloud Reflections

Morning Cloud Reflections and Horse Carriage.

Before you put your easel in the middle of the beach, just walk over to the water. Very often there's so much more going on -there-! Great stuff to paint.

Often we'll have great light in the morning when I'll do the demo to show my students the possibilities in choosing a subject, or to paint the ocean, sky, or to capture light, and so on.

Here I was struck with the creamy -pinkish almost- colors of the clouds and reflections of the sky in the wide shallow area here.

Plain luck a horse carriage passes by. That's just the thing that completes the scene.
