Red Red Red
The worst spot.
Honking horns, a road to the Keukenhof, with a traffic jam all day long! Here I was standing beside the road, but I could concentrate. It was still cold so I wore enough clothes it can make the people a bit 'afraid' to talk to you :) that's what you need.
You want to be painting and not talking (of course). Coats, hats, it all helps. You do not want to look 'approachable'. Of course, there are always those kind ones, tourists, asking for pictures. And yes, no problem if asked.
Got a standing ovation from a little girl in a red car. In the backseat, applauding. Her mom said "she loves painting" and those are the moments you do not forget.
