Often my MasterClass participants don't like to see a day starting with grey, I always hope for a great dark sky when there are chances of rain.
Overcast and rain, it's not really fun, but clouds coming, going, parts of light shining through, or even a dark dark sky, I love the excitement of that! It's also rare.
It's great to paint in any kind of weather. Creating a full range of different moments, different color and light effects.
SSP09-2019 Seascape Plein air Painting 'Inevitable Rain'
↪ Placing a figure or horse carriage in this painting can be great to accentuate the brightness of the lit ocean.
↪ The benefits of 'ugly' weather: when there is a spark of Light, it's just so powerful!
