Seascape 'Taking Care Of The Foreground'
Seascape 'Girls Pose and Reflections'
They offered to pose. Lucky me. Although every person had just about 3 minutes to spare, I had to paint them VERY fast. But 3 minutes is always more than painting somebody walking, so I was happy.
This is Wijk aan Zee. Great place. Painting seascapes in Summer it's so different from seascaping during the rest of the year. Because here it's clearly only about them (the figures). "Take care of the foreground and the background will take care of itself" I hear Hawthorne say. True.
