Painting Ice and Snow

Painting Ice and Snow.

The great thing about Ice and Snow is the disappearance of the color green.

The ice reflects the light even brighter than water would. It's a great way to paint in a limited palette. I love the shade colors of snow.

Then there's the time of day you can choose. I love the beginning or ending of the day as the yellows then come in stronger.
